Kick Ass Torrents

Motor de búsqueda de Torrents lanzado en el año 2008. Conocido por sus siglas KAT y actualmente en la dirección kat.ph, nació con el objetivo de propagar por todo el mundo un nuevo estándar en este tipo de búsquedas (protocolo BitTorrent) y proporcionar una interfaz fácil de usar para que dichas búsquedas fueran más fáciles y organizadas. Kick Ass Torrents no es un rastreador y no aloja ningún contenido (lo contrario seria ilegal), ofrece sólo el acceso a los torrents ya disponibles, es decir, hace lo mismo que Google, Bing u otros motores de búsqueda. A finales de 2012 Kick Ass Torrents entró en el prestigioso "Alexa Top 100" convirtiendose en historia viva de Internet.
